     Bu yıl bayram tatilimizi İstanbul'da geçirmeye karar verdik ve İstanbul'u keşfederken ablamın da tavsiyesiyle birkaç adını duyurmuş, beğenilen restorana da gittik.Deneyimlerimizi meraklıları için burada yayınlayıp, gitmek görmek ve yemekleri tatmak isteyenler için  bazı öneriler vermek istedim.
     

This year we  wanted to spend our holiday in Istanbul and while discovering Istanbul we also went some well-known and  popular restaurants with my sister's advice.I wanted to share my experiences for those who are interested in, like to go and taste the food there.


1- Mano Burger: Buraya İstiklal Caddesinden Asmalı Mescit sokak levhasını takip ederek gidebilirsiniz.Caddeye girer girmez levhasını göreceksiniz.Küçük bir yer ama güzel dekore edilmiş.Personel oldukça kibar.Patatesi 2 türlü sunuyorlar.Normal ve baharatlı.Biz baharatlı olanı tercih ettik.Hamburgerde birkaç seçenek var, hangisi damak tadınıza hitap ediyorsa onu tercih edebilirsiniz.Mano burger kare şeklinde köfte, özel sos marul, karemelize soğan ile sunuluyor.Et sulu lezzetli ama fiyatlar bir burger için oldukça yüksek.13 lira sadece burger fiyatı; bu fiyat içecek ve patates ile iyice kabarıyor.Burdan çıktığınızda kafanızda şu soru beliriyor; bu fiyata burger bir daha yenir mi?Bence yenmez.Vedat Milor daha önce burda program yapmıştı merak ettik ama ilk ve son gidişimiz diyebiliriz:))




1-Mano Burger :You can find the restaurant by walking through İstiklal Street into Asmalı Mecsit Street.You will see it when you turn into the street; small but well-decorated.Staff is very kind.They serve chips in two ways; regular and spicy.We chose to eat spicy.You have several choices for burgers.In Mano burger; caramelized onion, special sauce, square shaped meatball ( juicy and delicious) and lettuce served between special baked hamburger bread.Despite of the taste of delicious meatball the price is too high for a burger and with chips and a drink the price gets higher.A question rises when walk out the the door; will I eat that hamburger with that price again?If you are not a burger lover the answer is 'No'.In my opinion 'No'.TheTurkish gourmet Vedat Milor made a programme in that small restaurant, we  wondered but it's our first and last visit:))

2-Filizler Köftecisi : Bu kocaman üç katlı restoran Üsküdar'da hemen Kız Kulesi'nin karşısında.Geçen yıl gurmeler tarafından Türkiye'nin en iyi köftecisi seçilmiş.Restoranın çok şık döşenmiş, harika bir ambiyansı ve manzarası var.Bir teras katı da var.Size tavsiyem karışık köfte tabağını denemeniz.Filizler köfte adı altında sunulan bir köfte seçeneği daha var o da lezzetli.Yalnız karışık köfte tabağında fazla baharatlı ve acı yuvarlak bir köfte var ; eğer acı yemiyorsanız ve baharatlı yiyeceklerden hoşlanmıyorsanız bu köfte yerine başka bir köfteyi koydurun.Tatlı olarak biz dondurmalı irmik helvası yedik.Köfte de, tatlı da oldukça lezzetliydi fakat restoran vızır vızır işlediği ve kalabalık olduğu için sipariş öyle çabuk gelmiyor irmik helvası soğuyor e haliyle dondurma da eriyor.Yine de Kız Kulesi'ne karşı lezzetli bir yemek yiyorsunuz.Fiyata gelince ; kesinlikle fiyat manzara, lezzet ve ambiyansa göre çok iyi.Gitmenizi tavsiye ederim.Tekrar , tekrar... 

2- Filizler Meatball Restaurant :This big restaurant has three floors with the wonderful view of Kiz Kulesi(An old tower that takes it's name from a girl imprisoned there).This place has been chosen the best meatball  restaurant by Turkish gourmets last year.It has a wonderful atmosphere and well-decorated.It's also terrace floor.I recommend you to eat mixed meatball but it's also a choice under the name Filizler meatball.They are both delicious but in mixed meatball plate there is a round shaped meatball which is  too spicy, too hot .If you do not perefer  too spicy and hot food you can ask to change that with another meatball kind..As dessert we took semolina helva(dessert) with ice-cream.They're both  delicious but as the restaurant is very big and crowded the dessert gets cold and ice-cream melts.But it worths when you think price, taste ,( the price is very  

reasonable)  view and atmoshepere there. You should go there again and again.

                       

       Her ne kadar köfteci ile burgeri karşılaştırmak pek de doğru olmasa da size iki öneri de bulundum.Umarım hoşunuza gider.

      Although it's not reasable to compare a meatball restaurant with a burger house I presented you two places.I hope you like it.
